PRIMARY INSTRUCTORS
BEC, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
LONGINA PHILLIPS DESIGNS
Bec studied fashion design before finding her place in the textile industry. With 20+ years experience, she knows surface design inside and out.
LOLA, FOUNDER + OWNER
LONGINA PHILLIPS DESIGNS
Lola holds a degree in Graphic Design, but above all, she is a bold risk-taker who dives into every endeavor with unwavering determination.
SARA, HEAD OF DESIGN
LONGINA PHILLIPS DESIGNS
Sara is an expert in the fashion industry, having run her own apparel brand and being Lola's daughter. She has experienced all the ups and downs of the industry.
ZOOM
A master painter, has been an integral part of the LPD studio for 25 years. Originally from Shanghai, he honed his skills in gouache application for textiles before working at a Chinese printing mill. His artistic journey then led him to Australia, where he continues to flourish.
CHARIS
One of our most seasoned designers, Charis brings with her a wealth of industry experience spanning nine years. She pursued her education in Fashion and Textile Design at Uni before venturing to the US, where she joined the fashion teams of two renowned retail giants.
KATRINA
Katrina, a seasoned textile designer at LPD, brings over 11 years of experience to the studio. Prior to venturing into the world of textile design, she honed her skills in drawing and painting while pursuing a BFA at COFA.
LYNDSAY
Lyndsay has a BA Honours in Printed Textiles from Edinburgh College of Art. After working and freelancing for UK studios, she ventured to a land of mosquitoes and sun. As a senior designer for LPD, Lyndsay's drawing and Photoshop skills are excellent!
ANGELA
Angela, a watercolour specialist, perfected her craft for almost 20 years at Longina Phillips Designs. She excels in expressive floral paintings and occasionally explores abstraction.
STEPHANIE
After graduating from The University of Technology Sydney, Stef pursued a career that combines her love for illustration and fashion. She eventually found her true calling in textile design, where her talents flourished.
